These rules apply to every giveaway and reward program on Boosted.
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A purchase or Boost will not increase your chances of winning.
Free entry method. Every giveaway can be entered for free. Create a free account on the Boosted app (boostedapp.live) and complete any free entry steps listed in that giveaway's details, such as following an account named in the announcement.
BoostedApp.live is operated by Settlr LLC. Settlr LLC sponsors each giveaway unless that giveaway's announcement names a co-sponsor.
Each giveaway's prize, entry period, eligible regions, number of winners and any co-sponsor are stated in that giveaway's announcement or details in the app. Those details are part of these rules. If they conflict with these rules, the giveaway-specific details control.
Giveaway-specific details can never require a purchase or Boost to enter, and can never give extra entries or better odds for a purchase or Boost. The No Purchase Necessary section always applies.
Open to people who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry and a legal resident of an eligible region listed for that giveaway. Unless a giveaway's details say otherwise, the eligible regions are the United States and Jamaica. Employees and contractors of Settlr LLC and of any co-sponsor named for that giveaway, and their immediate family members, are not eligible to enter. Void where prohibited.
Each giveaway's entry period is stated in its details. Entries received after the entry period ends will not be counted.
Prizes are as described in each giveaway's details. No cash alternative is offered unless the details say so. Prizes are non-transferable. The sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if a stated prize becomes unavailable.
Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.
Unless a giveaway's details state another method, winners are selected by random drawing from all eligible entries received during the entry period.
Winners are notified through the email address, Boosted account or social media account used to enter. If a winner cannot be reached, or does not respond within the time stated in the notification, an alternate winner may be selected by the same method.
Before a prize is awarded, a winner may be asked to confirm their identity, age and eligibility. A winner who does not meet these rules, or who cannot be verified, may be disqualified and an alternate winner selected. Entries made using multiple accounts, automated means or false information are void.
Winners are responsible for any taxes on a prize. Where the law requires it, the sponsor may ask for tax information before awarding a prize.
Where permitted by law, by accepting a prize a winner agrees that the sponsor may use the winner's display name and Boosted profile to announce the result in the app and on Boosted's channels, without further compensation.
The sponsor and any co-sponsor are not responsible for entries that are lost, late, incomplete or not received because of technical problems, and are not liable for any loss or injury resulting from taking part in a giveaway or from accepting or using a prize, to the extent permitted by law. The sponsor may cancel, suspend or modify a giveaway if fraud, technical failure or any other cause beyond its control affects its fairness.
These rules are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. The sponsor's decisions on all matters relating to a giveaway are final.
Information collected in connection with a giveaway is used as described in our Privacy Policy.
Boosted giveaways and rewards are in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Apple, Google, Instagram, Facebook, Meta or any other platform.
Rewards and perks earned in the app (for example badges, recognition or boost credits) have no cash value, are non-transferable, cannot be exchanged for cash, and may change or expire as stated in the app. Settlr LLC may modify or end a reward program at any time, without affecting rewards already earned.
